Mission & Vision

The Festival of Forgotten Grapes celebrates the “underdogs” of the California Wine World, those 100+ grapes of wine with extensive histories and lineage here in the state that make up only 7% of the total vine plantings. Our mission is to:

  • Showcase the growers and producers of these lesser-known and uncommon wine varieties.
  • Promote the existence and excellence of these hidden gems of wine that are not available to the average wine consumer.
  • Allow Festival attendees the opportunity to taste, enjoy, and appreciate these Forgotten Grapes wines under one roof.
  • Assist attendees with taking their favorite wines home by delivering the wines they love to their door for one low delivery fee, no matter how many different wineries they order from.
